The hummus is made fresh daily, smooth and creamy, offering the perfect balance of flavor without being too rich or overpowering. This classic Middle Eastern dip is a perfect companion to the falafel or as an appetizer before the main course.

The shawarma, grilled to perfection, is another customer favorite, served with freshly baked pita bread and a range of sauces that enhance the flavors. If you’re in the mood for something a bit more filling, their lamb kebabs are tender, juicy, and full of smoky flavors. For those who prefer a lighter meal, there are also plenty of vegetarian and vegan options, like the stuffed grape leaves and falafel bowls, ensuring everyone finds something to enjoy.

A busy Falafel place with very good food and service. People were mostly there for take out but me and my husband decided to dine in and eat the food while it was hot. Their lentil soup was very comforting and homely. The wraps and the hummus were also very delicious. A definite go to for a quick bite.

Layla’s Falafel in Stamford is my go-to for incredibly fresh, consistently delicious Middle Eastern food. Everything tastes homemade with that extra touch of love that only a family-owned business can bring. The quality is the same every single time, which is why I keep coming back. I grab weeknight meals here often, and I’ve also used Layla’s for multiple catering orders — both are always reliable, generous, and unbelievably fresh. The chicken kebabs are a must (in a bowl or on their own to repurpose at home), and all of the dips are outstanding. And don’t sleep on their desserts or the fluffy pitas — both are amazing. Such a wonderful family, and truly one of the most consistent spots around. Highly recommend!

I was in the area and wanted to eat something fresh and with good flavor. This place hit the spot. Food was really good and portions were big. I enjoyed the food from this Lebanese restaurant. Good customer service. I would come back when I am in the area again. Parking was a bit challenging due to it being on a weekend.

We came to connecticut not knowing what to expect. And then we came into Layla’s. We were welcomed immediately and were given a menu. We got the Layla’s shawarma, beef shawarma, layla's shawarma in a toasted wrap, fries, along with chicken and beef kabobs. First off, the food came within 10 minutes of waiting. The portions were surprisingly big, my group thought it would be smaller. The proteins are filled with moisture and flavor with every bite. The hummus is made fresh daily and was very creamy. The fries were crispy and well seasoned as well. The parking lot was pretty small so be aware of that. The overall atmosphere was great! We were greeted with overwhelmingly kindness and treated with care, which gave us a homey feeling. I definitely would return here If i’m ever back in Connecticut!

Stopped by Connecticut during a road trip and found this fantastic place. Came into laylas and wasn’t expecting much from the exterior appearance but was overwhelmed at how amazing the food was. I had the beef/lamb platter and it was delicious. I would highly recommend this place as the food is great and the customer service is excellent and friendly. Amazing restaurant overall.

So good and absolutely AWESOME that I had to leave a review. When I ate there for dining, the food was so fresh and flavorful and the service was IMPECCABLE. I then came back to order for catering and they absolutely nailed it! The prices are also soooo good! Best middle eastern restaurant in the nation hands down!

Great quality restraunt - the box give you enough food nearly for 3 people. Definitely worth the price - fresh ingredients, great staff, quick service!

We have been coming here for years for reliable and incredible Middle Eastern food. We were here just last week and I had the best falafel I’ve ever had in my life as it must’ve just been made. I’ve had falafel 100 times as take out from them and from street vendors in the city, but this time we chose to eat at Layla’s and sure enough the food was so fresh. I couldn’t believe how good it was even the 10 minutes home cooled the food off, so I highly recommend giving it a try eating on premise. Also, it would be a shame for you not to have their french fries. With plenty of places that sell french fries within blocks - it’s good to know that none of them compare to Layla’s french fries - they are insane. That’s it - other than don’t expect much from the decor — there isn’t any!
